Getting Started
Sharing documents and meeting online has never been easier, more cost effective and more productive. Getting started with InstaColl couldn't be simpler, so follow these steps and start collaborating online today!

1. Download and install InstaColl on Your PC
The automatic setup takes seconds, and no configuration is required. InstaColl will download to your PC and enable you to share documents and host and join online meetings with a few clicks. Begin by sharing a document from right within any of the Microsoft Office applications.

2. Share documents online
Even novices can begin sharing their documents with absolutely no training. Through a single click of the embedded InstaColl button, you can begin presenting and sharing documents or applications with your business contacts across the country or with your colleagues down the hall.

How It Works

1. Starting InstaColl
Once you have registered for a free account and downloaded and installed InstaColl on your system, you can see the "InstaColl" button appear on the application menu of your familiar Microsoft Office applications - Word, Excel and Power Point. Open a document or presentation that you would like to share and then click on this button to initiate InstaColl.

2. Invite a friend
Clicking on the InstaColl button creates a secure collaboration session with the document you have chosen automatically loaded into the InstaColl client. At this point, InstaColl also brings up your default e-mail client with particulars on how to join the collaboration session that you have just initiated (NB: If you do have a default email client on your system, you can copy the invitation details and paste it into a web-based e-mail such as Yahoo or Hotmail). Enter a friend's email ID here and send out the invitation mail. You can also share the URL to join the session through the phone or using an Instant Messenger application.

3. Begin InstaColling!
Once your friend clicks on the invitation URL and enters the specified session passkey to authenticate her credentials, InstaColl is automatically downloaded and installed on her PC and she is connected to the InstaColl session that you started. Your friend can join the session from any place - from within your company, from behind a different firewall - InstaColl automatically sets up the most optimum connection between the two of you. As soon as she enters the session, you are notified of her entry and the document that you have chosen to share appears on her desktop. You can now collaboratively present, edit and review this document just as you would have done so if you had done this alone!
